Selected Publications

Take a look at previous work as a PhD Student, Postdoc and Senior Postdoc. Here are some examples of the interdisciplinary research intended at the lab:

For a complete list:

Quantitative Multi-colour Fluorescence Microscopy

In this work, we developed a four colour quantum dot-based innovative imaging technique capable of addressing multi-molecular interactions at the single molecule level. We applied our novel methodology with the aim of characterizing early HIV-1 interactions on the cell membrane of immature dendritic cells

Transcriptional Condensates:
A single molecule study

In this work, we applied single molecule fluorescence microscopy to study the spatiotemporal behaviour of Progesterone Receptor condensates in breast cancer cells

Host-Pathogen Interactions: Unraveling a novel membrane organization principle with a high impact on virus internalization

In this work, we discovered a novel cell membrane organization principle where glycan-based multimolecular interactions determine the fate of HIV internalization on immature dendritic cells. This work underscores the importance of the regulatory functions of the glycocalyx in fine-tuning intermolecular interactions on the cell membrane and clathrin-mediated endocytosis

Viral Receptor Nanoclustering crucial for viral capture

In this work, we addressed using super-resolution nanoscopy and single particle tracking, the role of receptor nanoclustering in viral capture on the cell membrane
